Hunter Valley Wine School

Hunter Resort offers the total 'wine experience'. The on site winery has the largest capacity in the Hunter Valley. The Hunter Valley Wine School commences daily at 9am and is an informal tutorial of wine education. Walk through the on site vineyard of 40 year old Shiraz vines and discuss matters viticultural.

Tyrrells Vineyard

Discover over 150 years of winemaking experience with a trip to Tyrrell's Hunter Valley winery. Winery tours operate daily at 1:30pm. Explore the white and red winemaking facilities and experience firsthand the old oak vats and the historic red cellar still in full operation. You will also see the original iron bark hut that Edward Tyrrell lived in and the Short Flat Vineyard, home of Vat 1 Semillon, its vines first planted in 1927.
